NAS 2E Mooring Frame UnderwaterNAS 2E Mooring Frame Underwater

NAS-2E -
The world leader for in-situ nutrient data collection and field proven in many diverse application areas. This unique wet chemistry based device has
now collected "first ever" time series data sets for most leading national research and regulatory organizations. Available nutrient chemistries include nitrate (& nitrite), phosphate, silicate and a newly developed fluorometric ammonia technique.

Field Proven In-situ Nutrient Analyzer

The NAS 2E is an in-situ nutrient analyzer for high-frequency time-series determination of nutrient concentrations in marine and fresh waters. Four versions are available for the measurement of nitrate (and/or nitrite) phosphate, silicate and now ammonia.

The NAS 2E is typically deployed unattended for periods up to 60 days, although much longer deployments have been achieved. The device may be used near surface, in buoy and riverine applications, or be deployed at depths to 250 m in taut-line mooring scenarios.
