Franatech
Technologie GmbH was formed in 1999 by former employees
of the german national research center GKSS. The Company
is a result of the outsourcing of research and development
activities, in the frame of a programme of technology
transfer aiming at the marketing of innovative technological
solutions.
Our small but
dedicated team develops, manufactures and provides sensors
for dissolved gasses in water. Our sensors are used
world-wide for various applications: methane hydrate
research, climate research, deepwater oceanology, offshore
oil and gas exploration activities, offshore installations
safety and integrity surveys, lake ecosystems research,
groundwater quality monitoring, landfill leachate monitoring.
Franatech was honoured with the Schmidt-Roemhild
Technology Award 2002 in Lübeck/Germany for the
Development, Production and Global Marketing of the
METS underwater methane sensor. The award was presented
by Dr. Bernd Rohwer (Minister for Economy, Technology
and Transport).
Our large experimental and field
experience is a guarantee for our customers that we
speak the same language and that we are able to propose
an appropriate answer to their needs. Contact us to
discuss about your application.
