DIDSON gives near video quality images for inspection and identification of objects underwater in turbid water where optical systems fail. DIDSON operates at two pairs of frequencies (1.8 MHz and 1.1 MHz) or (1.2 MHz and 0.7 MHz) and uses acoustic lenses which allow for sharp images.
