QTC MULTIVIEW
QTC MULTIVIEW uses a suite of algorithms to generate statistical features describing image backscatter texture and intensity. The software uses the data recorded by the source multibeam sonar - no additional hardware is required. A patented process is implemented to compensate the recorded image for grazing angle and range artifacts. Those areas of the seabed with similar features are isolated and grouped together using a sophisticated, objective 3-D clustering routine to generate discrete classes, which can be associated with specific features of the seabed.
